Renee Nichol Pegoda

Renee’ Nichol Pegoda was born October 9, 1986 and entered heaven March 4, 2021. She was born in Houston, Texas to Thomas and Beverly Pegoda. Renee’ worked as a waitress for many years connecting with good customers, many of whom became friends. They frequently came in requesting her service and that beautiful smile, which was special to her. Renee’ loved to host a good party. Themed parties being her favorite and ordering the play slides, bounce houses, and equipment for the kids to enjoy was a must. Her home was decorated with each special theme the kids desired. She loved seeing the kids happy and enjoying themselves, playing for hours. At her Christmas parties, the tree and house were lit up for Christmas brilliantly and so beautiful, ready to enjoy family and friends. Renee’ loved spending time at the lake or beach, cooking out and sitting by the bonfire, visiting and joking for hours, singing and dancing, so full of life and laughter. Getting dressed up was a must to go out, hair and nails done to perfection. Her favorite thing was going out to eat, choosing a variety of places or frequenting her favorites. She really liked good food and enjoyed the company of friends and family. Renee’ attended Nimitz High School, where she was a member of Aldine FFA, showing her goats and winning several ribbons and awards. She went on to study Real Estate at Northwest County College where she made numerous lifelong friends. Renee’s children, Edward and Jasmin, were the source of her greatest joy and her true loves. Edward began playing baseball at age four where he possessed natural talent. He has won many games, tournaments, and championships, playing for high-ranking teams. With a case full of trophies, metals, and rings. She was so very proud of her big baseball star!! Jasmin has just started playing softball and won her first metal. Jasmin has natural artistic abilities. She was the very proud Momma of both of her children. Renee’ had a strong faith in Christ, which was a great comfort to her over these last months. She spent much time praying and leaning on God for strength and peace. She and God will watch over her children always. Renee’ was preceded in death by her brother Travis Pegoda, grandparents Bobby and Garrett Lynn Bitner, Barbara and Billy Wilson, Joe and Joyce Pegoda, Uncles Joey and Adam Pegoda and Aunt Cassandra. Cousins Axton Varieur and Ryan Pegoda. She is survived by her children Edward Rothlander III and Jasmin Padron. Parents Thomas and Beverly Pegoda. Sister-in-law Ziry Pegoda, nephew Axton Pegoda, niece Heidi Love Pegoda and numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends. Family will receive friends for visitation on Wednesday March 10th from 5-7pm and Funeral Services on Thursday March 11th, 10am, at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home, Huntsville, TX.
