Margaret Ann Miller

Margaret Ann Miller, known to loved ones as Peggie, was born in Redlands, California on January 8, 1941 and passed May 16, 2008 at the age of 67. Peggie is survived by her husband of nearly 45 years, Richard Miller; their children: Cherie Countz and husband Mark of Huntsville, TX; Dan Miller of Los Angels, CA; Jodi Wilmot and husband Scott stationed in Pearl Harbor, HI; and Jennifer Miller and husband John of Galveston, TX; her grandchildren: Casi, Corey and Calli Countz of Huntsville, TX; Melissa, Samantha, Rebecca and Jessica Wilmot of Pearl Harbor, HI; her father Richard Dibble of Acworth, GA; her twin sister Nancy Lindsey of Los Angeles, CA; her brother Donald Dibble of Santa Cruz, CA, her brother Steven Dibble of Woodstock, GA; her sister Phyllis Dibble Jacobs of Acworth, GA; her brother Jeffrey Dibble of Highland County, CO; her Aunt Chipper Paxton and cousin Garry Paxton of Dallas, TX. She was preceded in death by her mother Mary Frances Newman, and her brother Richard Kinnear. Peggie dedicated her days to her family. After raising her young family in California and Hawaii due to Richard’s service in the Navy, the family of six relocated to Huntsville in 1972. Peggie thoroughly enjoyed working for the Census Bureau during the 1980 and 1990 Census counts. For the last twenty four years Peggie took pleasure in being “nana”, spoiling her six granddaughters and her grandson. During her free time, Peggie was an avid reader and enjoyed life living on the lake. The family will be receiving visitors Tuesday, May 20th from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home, with a memorial service following Wednesday, May 21st at 3:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church of Huntsville, TX. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made in Peggie’s name to the Arthritis Foundation.
