Loes Jeanne Zuber

Loes Jeanne Zuber was born 12-17-1931 in St Louis County (Webster Groves). She enjoyed life to the fullest extent. She went to her eternal life on 05-29-2011. Jeanne was a Registered Nurse for over 50 years. She graduated from Missouri Baptist Nursing School in 1953. Besides caring for others her passions in life, were music, theatre and travel. She started singing at age 5 in her grandfather’s church and has been in choirs ever since. She was a founding member of The Montgomery County Choral Society and joined the Crighton Players in 1977. She did several dramas and musicals for the next 12 years. She started traveling in 1953, spending 33 days on a tour of South America. She went to Tokyo, Japan when her daughter Amy was stationed in Okinawa. She enjoyed singing with MCCS and especially the trips they took to Europe. She also sang in Carnegie Hall with a select group of singers in Nov 1992. Jeanne really believed in Christ’s commandment to love one another as well as yourself. She continued to care for others long after her formal nursing career ended. Her proudest achievements in life were her children. Melinda Zuber, York Zuber and wife Wendy, Amy Zuber Brigham and husband Randy Brigham; Granddaughter, Ryan Elise Brigham and Grandson Justin Edward Brigham. She leaves behind her brother, Paul D Davis, numerous cousins and a host of friends. She is being cremated and a private family service will be held to place her ashes with her parents in New London, Mo at a later date. The family requests that those who knew her celebrate her life by caring for others and laughing a lot…The choir at FUMC in Conroe, Texas will sing, “God So Loved the World”, at a time determined by the director. A special Celebration of Life service will be held at the First United Methodist Church, 4308 West Davis Street, Conroe 77304 on Saturday, June 25th at 11 A.M. A luncheon reception will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to FUMC Music Ministry (address same as above), or to the Montgomery County Choral Society, P. O.
