Lawrence Â“ButchÂ” Edward Dobraski Lawrence Â“ButchÂ” Edward Dobraski was called to the Lord on December 22, 2013 after a courageous two-year battle with cancer. Lawrence was born on December 11, 1953 in Conroe, Texas to Joe and Ruby Dobraski. He was a graduate of Willis High School in 1972 with both academic and athletic honors. He went on to attend Sam Houston State University where he received his Bachelor of Business Administration in 1976. Lawrence married his high-school sweetheart, Joni, of 37 years in March of 1976 and had two sons, Dustin and Dane. Lawrence spent the majority of his career in the wood products industry where he was extremely respected and well-liked by all that knew him. He was currently employed at LandscaperÂ’s Pride in Huntsville, TX where he loved his job and co-workers dearly. Lawrence devoted his life to his family and always put them first in everything he did. He was a loving husband to his wife, a patriarch, best friend and life-long role model to his two sons. He adored and idolized his grandchildren, Kylie and Dawson and they looked to him as a hero. Lawrence was also a loving brother, uncle, father-in-law, grandfather, and best friend to many others that he touched throughout his life. He always greeted you with a smile and was constantly trying to help others. Lawrence had a huge heart and never had a bad day. He wore a big smile every day of his life through the toughest of times to the very end. He loved his job, raising cattle, and cooking for family and friends on Sunday evenings. His favorite hobby was deer hunting through which he created so many good times and lifelong memories with friends and loved ones. Lawrence was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Dobraski and mother Ruby Dobraski. He is survived by the love of his life, Joni, oldest son Dustin and wife Hailey, younger son Dane and girlfriend Michaelanne Teeters. He has two grandchildren Kylie and Dawson whom he adored. He is also survived by his brother and best friend, Michael Dobraski, caring big sister Angie Kroll and brother-in-law Joseph Kroll, special sister-in-law Robin Miller and mother-in-law Carolle Lynn special caretaker, old friend and father-in-law Dewey Miller and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank all of their employers and co-workers that have been so supportive over the last two years. They would also like to thank everyone for all of the support and prayers they have given to Lawrence and his family. Our heartfelt gratitude to all of LawrenceÂ’s doctors and ICU nursing staff that provided not only excellent care, but unending compassion throughout his multiple hospital stays. Funeral services for Mr. Dobraski will be held Friday, December 27, 2013, 1:00 p.m., at First Presbyterian Church in Huntsville, Texas. Interment will follow in Shepard Hill Cemetery, New Waverly, Texas. Family will receive friends Thursday, December 26, 2013, from 6:00-8:00 p.m., at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home in Huntsville, Texas.
