Kyle Bradley Bowman

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kyle Bradley Bowman, beloved son, friend, and family member, who left us far too soon on October 6, 2024. Born on July 31, 2001, Kyle brought joy and light to everyone he encountered, and his infectious smile and laughter will be remembered by all who knew him. Kyle was the cherished son of Elaine Jackson and James & Misty Bowman, and leaves behind a large and loving network of family and friends who will forever treasure the moments shared with him. His warmth, kindness, and selfless spirit touched the lives of so many, as he always strived to bring happiness to those around him. He was a gentle giant with a heart of gold. A 2019 graduate of Dutchtown High School in Geismar, LA. Kyle excelled in football, displaying both talent and determination on the field. He was especially proud of the adventures he experienced growing up in Alaska, where he developed a deep connection with the outdoors and always dreamed of living there again. After moving to Louisiana, he often entertained family and friends with stories of Disney World and his many amusement park trips, reliving those joyful moments with his signature enthusiasm and laughter. He also had a passion for reading and loved to travel, with road trips alongside his mom and fishing trips with his dad being some of his most treasured memories. Kyle’s love for the culinary arts blossomed early in his life, with a particular devotion and talent for creating authentic Cajun cuisine. His dedication to perfecting his craft led him to the Louisiana Culinary Institute, where he earned dual degrees in Advanced Culinary Arts and Baking and Pastry. He had a special gift for crafting meals, especially Cajun dishes, that brought a smile to people’s faces, and seeing their joy filled his heart as well. Kyle’s greatest joy came from spending time with his family and friends. He will be remembered for his bright spirit, his ability to light up a room with his laughter, and his unwavering desire to make others smile. Kyle is survived by his loving parents, Elaine Jackson and James Bowman, his stepmom Misty, his sisters Camryn and Alexa, and his brother Braden. He loved his parents and siblings more than anything, and they were the center of his world. A service to honor Kyle’s life will be held on Saturday, October 12, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home in Willis, TX.
