Troy, Kristy, Cameron and Kara Lawson Troy Joseph Lawson born August 15, 1977; Kristy Lea Lawson born December 28, 1980; Cameron Lee Lawson born September 29, 1999; Kara Beth Lawson born May 30, 2002; were all joined together as a family in their new home in Heaven on March 6, 2009. Troy and Kristy were both graduates of Huntsville High School. They were high school sweethearts and joined in marriage on May 28, 2000. They were both successful people, Troy working for Wiesner for 10+ years and working on getting his degree as a Physician’s Assistant. Kristy pursued her passion to teach and earned her degree from Sam Houston State University. She became a 4th grade teacher at Stewart Elementary. The truth to Troy and Kristy is they were all about their two precious children Cameron and Kara Beth. They were their pride and joy. Family was everything to them - they were the true "All American Family". The four of them completed each other. Cameron was a true athlete, shining in football and baseball, but loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and wakeboarding with his Daddy. Kara Beth was a true princess inside and out! She loved dance, cheerleading and being a Girl Scout. She always had a smile on her face and a song to sing you. Kristy and Troy were truly blessed with two precious angels from God. Troy was preceded in death by his grandfather, Meddie Lanoue and joined in death with his mother, Julia Lawson. He is survived by his father, Terry Lawson, Sr., sister, Jacki Dawson and husband Thomas, brother, Terry Lawson, Jr. and wife Jill; nephews and nieces; Thomas Dawson, Jr., Sarah Dawson, Emily Dawson, Tristan Lawson, Blake Lawson. He is also survived by his grandmother, Inez Lanoue, aunts; Sandy Vinnedge, Barbara Armstrong, Teresa Lanoue and uncle, David Lanoue. Numerous relatives from Indiana and other family and friends also survive. Kristy was preceded in death by grandfather, Marvin Lee Bartee. She is survived by her parents; Susan and Bonner Hoeser, sister, Shannon and husband Ted York, brother, Trent and Kelli Hoeser, nieces and nephews; Kealy York, Layne York, Joe York, Rylee Hoeser and Vivian Hoeser. She is also survived by grandmother, Sue Bartee Diehl, uncle, Wayne Bartee and family, Rosemary Bartee and family, and two great-uncles. With the two precious children, Cameron and Kara being joined with their parents they are survived by the same family members. Troy and Kristy and the family have many other survivors, Johnny Sullivan and Tanna Sullivan along with many cousins, and other family and friends. Services will be held Saturday March 14, 2009 at 10 AM at University Heights Baptist Church with Pastor Jason Bay officiating. Interment will follow at Pine Valley Cemetery. All services are under the direction of Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home. Serving as pallbearers for Kristy will be Joe Tyler, Quinn Ashworth, Steve McKenzie, and Jeff York, in addition to the Huntsville Fire Department and Walker County EMS. Pallbearers for Troy, Cameron, and Kara will be the Huntsville Fire Department and Walker County EMS. Honorary pallbearers are the Huntsville Youth Football League. The family received friends Thursday evening at the funeral home.
