Jaybin and Niclas Soto

Jaybin Lazaro Soto, 23, of Huntsville, Texas tragically passed away with his younger brother on March 28, 2025. He was born on January 26, 2002, one minute after his twin brother Jerick. Jaybin began his educational career at Stewart Elementary in Huntsville ISD and completed it as a 2020 graduate of Huntsville High School. During his childhood, he had a built-in set of best friends, his brothers. Together, the 3 of them shared countless memories filled with Hot Wheels, Power Rangers, sports stats, favorite TV shows, secrets amongst themselves, laughs, tears, arguments, & so many life decisions. Through the good, the bad, & sometimes ugly, the love they shared was immeasurable & the bond they had was untouchable. Jaybin began working at Whataburger when he was 17 and was joined shortly after by both of his brothers until they all 3 left in 2023. At the time of his passing, Jaybin was an assembler at UFP (Universal Forest Products) lumber company in New Waverly, where he worked alongside both of his brothers at one point. During his time at both workplaces, Jaybin was described as hardworking, caring, & motivated, along with many other respected qualities. In his position at UFP, Jaybin-or “J Balvin” as they endearingly nicknamed him, is remembered for being a valued crew member, whose hard work didn’t go unnoticed, for having natural born leadership, and for potential for advancement within the company. The birth of his baby girl, Malaysia, in 2024, impacted Jaybin greatly. He wanted nothing more than to be the best dad for her & he strived to be that every day. His face lit up & he beamed with pride every chance he got to speak about her & he cherished every second he was able to spend with her. Jaybin’s most important attribute was caring deeply for his family, who are left to cherish his memory and continue his legacy: Daughter Malaysia, “Gram” Linda Soto, Aunt Jonna Soto-Ledyard (husband Jeff Ledyard), cousins Riley Soto-Ledyard & Jenna Soto-Ledyard, Mom Janita Soto, twin brother Jerick Soto & girlfriend (honorary sister/ roommate) Gabriela Morales, and important bonus family member Amy Salazar. Grandpa Mike Soto, Jr, Uncle Greg Soto, cousins; Ashton Soto, Morgan Soto, Noah Soto, Mikey Soto, & Rey Soto, his constant 4-legged companion Diesel “Bub”, along with many other family members & friends. Paternal grandparents Salvador & Yolanda Favela, Father Victor Favela, half-sister Sofia Nacianceno, Aunt Ana Garcia, cousins; Nattelie, Christina, & Antonio Garcia, Uncle Gustavo Favela (wife Deisy), cousins Devon & David Favela, Uncle Salvador Favela, Jr., Elisa Pulido (husband Juan), cousins; Mia Pulido, Samuel Favela, & Gabriella Favela, Aunt Julieta Norment, cousins; Jasmine, Damion, Brianna, & Michael, Aunt Julisa Calfee (husband Ryan), cousins: Liliana, Hunter, Grace, & Matthew. Jaybin is preceded in death by his Uncle Michael Soto, Uncle Lazaro Favela, & his dog, Koda. Niclas “Nico” Jonn Soto, 21, of Huntsville, Texas tragically passed away with his older brother, on March 28, 2025. Born on September 6, 2003, he completed the trio known as “the Soto boys”. Nico began his educational career at Stewart Elementary in HISD and completed it as a 2022 graduate of Huntsville High School. During his childhood, he had a built-in set of best friends, his brothers. Together, the 3 of them shared countless memories filled with Hot Wheels, Power Rangers, sports stats, favorite TV shows, secrets amongst themselves, laughs, tears, arguments, & so many life decisions. Through the good, the bad, & sometimes ugly, the love they shared was immeasurable & the bond they had was untouchable. Nico began working at Whataburger when he was 16, joining both of his brothers until they all 3 left in 2023. At the time of his passing, Nico was an assembler at UFP (Universal Forest Products) lumber company in New Waverly, where he worked alongside his brothers at one point. During his time at both workplaces, Nico was described as hardworking, strong & dependable, along with many other respected qualities. In his position at UFP, Nico is remembered for being a valued crew member, driven, dependable, and charismatic, and for his potential for advancement within the company.
