Ethan Cole Bishop

Huntsville, Texas – Mr. Ethan Cole Bishop, age 20, of Montgomery, TX, passed from this life on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, in a small plane accident with his father, Elijah. Ethan was born on February 6, 2003 to his parents Elijah and Diana Bishop. He had recently graduated high school and was working on his Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management. Ethan was working towards obtaining his private pilot’s license with his dad being his instructor. He was planning on flying for regional airlines first then moving on to major airlines. He also had plans to join the Air National Guard to serve his country. Ethan had such a bright future ahead of him that he was working very hard for. Throughout his childhood, he enjoyed playing soccer and during his high school years he enjoyed his time on the Huntsville, AL. Fishing team. Ethan loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He was learning how to play the guitar, in addition to being able to play the piano, and liked to play whatever new tune he had learned for us. Although his big brother Alex lives in Wyoming, Ethan still enjoyed regularly chatting with him. He went to church every Sunday with his dad, mom, and sister, Chloe. Ethan enjoyed flying with his dad, golfing with his dad, fishing with his dad, and going to the gym. He also enjoyed spending time with his friends. He traveled to Huntsville, AL as often as he could to visit some of his best friends there, Taylor, Luke, Jackson, and others. He also traveled to San Antonio, TX to visit his best friend, Geoffrey. There were so many who considered Ethan his best friend. He had just met a girl, Natalia, who he had started dating. Ethan was preceded in death by great grandparents, Edward Delaney, Margaret Coleman, Robert Coleman, and Paul Brunner. Ethan is survived by his mom, Diana; brother, Alex; sister, Chloe; grandparents, Ken and Peggy Delaney, Bob and Luise Sommers, Tammy Wilson Bishop, Chris Bishop; great grandparents, Lois Delaney, Harvey and Peggy Wilson, L.N. and Rose Bishop; uncle, Kenny and wife Jeannette; cousins Aubrey and Brielle and a multitude of other uncles, aunts, and cousins. Visitation will be held Monday, September 18, 2023, from 11:00am until 2:00pm at Central Funeral Home in Manchester, TN. Funeral services will be conducted immediately following visitation at 2:00pm in the chapel of Central Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens in Tullahoma, TN.
