Celia "Cyndi" Eastham

Celia Anne Eastham November 6, 1953 - July 22, 2023 Celia (Cyndi) Anne Eastham, age 69, of Huntsville, Texas died peacefully on July 22, 2023, after a battle with cancer and other health problems. She was a member of the Orthodox Church, and was a resolute follower of her Savior, Jesus Christ. Cyndi is survived by her three sisters: Randi Renee Jackson and husband David M. Jackson of Huntsville, Texas, Cathryn Lee Warren and husband Shane St. Clair of San Gabriel, California, and Robyn Rochelle Cox and husband William (Biff) Franklin IV of Bel Air, Maryland; son Edmon Monroe Eastham of New Zealand, wife Anna, son Logan and daughters Maia and Naomi; aunt Judy Krehbiel Goering and husband Keith Goering of Moundridge, Kansas, cousin Lynette Sheppard of Woodville, Texas; nephew David M. Jackson, Jr. of Porter, Texas with wife Anhthu and son Aiden Le; niece Camille Sauerbier and husband Jason with son Maverick; nephew Bryce Eubanks and wife Christi of Texas; nephew Grant Eubanks and wife Amanda of Japan; niece Erin Leigh Williams and husband Aaron with son Ryker; and a host of additional family members and friends. She was born in Wichita, Kansas, to Edmon Monroe Eastham and Nellie Jane Krehbiel Eastham. Cyndi received a bachelor's degree in criminal justice and a Master of Arts in Biblical counseling. During her career Cyndi's occupations included serving as a parole officer, a paralegal, and a labor arbitrator. She retired from the Texas Department of Criminal Justice where she was an employee with the Inspector General's Office. Cyndi loved her God, her church, her country, her family, and her friends. She in turn was a good Christian woman, a faithful member of her church, a red-blooded patriot, an excellent mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and sister-in-law, and a loyal friend. She was much-loved, and she will be missed. Cyndi will lie-in-state at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home, Huntsville, Texas from Thursday July 27 through Saturday July 29, for anyone who might want to come by.
