Blake Ryan Newman

Blake Ryan Newman, at the age of 22, was taken home suddenly to our Lord and Savior Tuesday, April 19, 2016 due to a tragic vehicle accident. He is survived by his mother Vanessa Widner LeBlanc and husband David LeBlanc of Round Rock, TX; father David Ryan Newman and wife Sandy Newman of Huntsville, TX. Blake is also survived by his siblings: One sister, Morgan Taylor Newman; Brothers: Gus Newman, Kale LeBlanc and Zane LeBlanc. Grandparents: David and Gloria Newman of Huntsville, TX; Martin Jr and Bobbie Widner of Huntsville, TX; Theresa and Ray Welsh of Splendora, TX; Great-Grandmother Lou Cude of Splendora, TX; Lloyd LeBlanc of Austin, TX; Lisa LeBlanc of Louisiana; Ray and Charlene Mulvaney of Austin, TX; Mike and Debbie Skidmore of Huntsville, TX; Great-Grandma Mary Jo Pool of Huntsville, TX; Wayne and Debbie Pool of Richards, TX. Uncles and Aunts include Josh and Morgan Newman of Willis, TX; Sarah and Sam Hardin of Humble, TX; Samantha Heil of The Woodlands, TX; Adina and Shaun Ogden of Conroe, TX; Brandie Coleman of Splendora, TX; Allison and Joshua Wilson of Bryan, TX; Kim LeBlanc of Austin, TX; Lawrence LeBlanc of Colorado; Nathan LeBlanc of California; Christopher LeBlanc of Louisiana; Sharon and Michael Sheppard of New York; Misty and James Henry of Huntsville, TX; Joe and Katy Tyler of Huntsville, TX; Suzy and Gary Riley of Richards, TX; Wayne Jr and Crystal Pool of Huntsville, TX. Blake also leaves behind many cousins and countless friends that were all very special to him. Blake is preceded in death by his great-grandparents David and Thelma Newman of Huntsville, TX; Bernice and Pauline Thompson of Indiana, Martin Sr. and Ethel Widner of Huntsville, TX; Ed Cude of Splendora, TX and Mary Etta Yates of Huntsville, TX. Blake was born in Conroe, Texas to his parents Vanessa Widner LeBlanc and David Ryan Newman on February 23, 1994. He was loved and adored by all who knew him. He loved life and adored his family and friends. Blake grew up in Cedar Park, Texas where he attended Summit Christian Academy and played football at Cedar Park High School. Blake had such a brilliant mind and was knowledgeable about many things. He had excellent grades. He also loved Roller Hockey, played with the Round Rock Knights, and got a chance to take part in the Junior Olympics. The summer before his sophomore year of high school, Blake moved to Huntsville. He loved Huntsville and the simple things. He attended Huntsville High School and worked for Huntsville Farm Supply part-time. After graduating in 2012, he decided to pursue a career in the oilfield. He hated to be gone from home, from his family, but he was very self-motivated and driven. After 3 years in the oilfield, he decided to make a change, and he took a job at Ball Canning in Conroe where he had worked nearly a year. He liked his job, and he especially loved the fact that he did not have to spend any more nights away from home. Blake also loved his friends. Their time spent together was centered around working on their trucks. Many of the diesel trucks in this community have been touched and worked on by Blake at some point. It was what he loved to do. Make them loud and make them fast... and they definitely had to leave behind a trail of thick black smoke. He was so loved and respected amongst his peers. Blake enjoyed his 4 wheelers, ATVs, and pretty much anything with a motor. He and his Dad spent many long nights in the barn turning wrenches and getting greasy. Blake also loved to be outdoors. He especially loved hunting and fishing with his Dad and Uncle Josh. Many memories were made at the deer lease and their other hunting expeditions. Blake was an ambitious, upstanding young man. He loved his life, family, his dogs Bugs and Bella, his trucks, friends and so much more. He made us laugh, and he made us all very proud. Blake’s pallbearers are special friends Corey Schaubert, Cally Nicks, Austin Bates, Randal Prehoda, Nick Heiger, Brandon Simpson, Tyler Dartez, and Dalton Ramon. Words cannot express the sorrow and the brokenness he leaves to all of us who loved him. He is forever in our hearts, forever in our thoughts, forever with us in all we do and all we have yet to do. The following is a passage that Blake sent to his mother and she wanted to share: Mom and Son One of the most beautiful bonds you’ll ever see. She protects her Prince, teaching him how to love, watching him grow into something promising. He holds on to her every word, because to him, no one else is more important than mommy. He wants for nothing, because she melts when he calls her name, cries when he’s hurt, or simply just says, “I love you”. No matter how old he gets, he is her baby, and he will always have mom on his mind. Love you mom !
