April 15, 1929 - January 17, 2022

Billie E. Green was born on April 15, 1929 in Conroe, Texas. She entered into her eternal rest on January 17, 2022 in Conroe, Texas. She was 92 years of age. Billie was the daughter of Claude Atkinson and Ruth Gandy Atkinson Groce. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Homer Atkinson and son-in-law, Michael Armstrong. She is survived by her husband, Charles (Charlie) Green; sister, Holly Kirkland; sons, Larry Green (Vicki), and Bill Green (Alma); daughter, Linda Armstrong; grandchildren, Keith Armstrong (Melissa), Sharon Koerner (Kyle), Kerri Rasco (Scotty), Julie Culver (Darren), and Wendy Pugh (Tony); great-grandchildren, Hailey Nitsche (Chris), Cameron & Jensen Norvell, Alyssa & Travis Culver (Maria), Tyler & Brooke Armstrong, Hannah Pugh, Taylor and Maranda Rasco; and great great-grandchildren, Carson & Eliana Culver and Eva Nitsche. Billie was a 1946 graduate of Conroe High School. She married Charlie on January 26, 1946 and they shared in a truly blessed and loving marriage for almost 76 years. She was a dedicated homemaker and an office assistant to Charlie in his automotive business. Billie enjoyed working in her yard tending her flowers and playing games, especially Canasta. She was an excellent hostess with many family gatherings being held around her table for a delicious meal and a favorite dessert. She was a faithful member of the Conroe Church of God Seventh Day. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Church of God Seventh Day, 18745 FM 1484 Rd., Conroe, Tx 77303. Graveside service will be at New Bethlehem Cemetery, 14630 Millmac Rd., Conroe, Tx 77303 on Friday, January 21st at 3:00 pm. Pallbearers Keith Armstrong, Tyler Armstrong, Travis Culver, Chris Nitsche, Cameron Norvell, and Tony Pugh. Memorial condolences may be made to the family at www.shmfh.com.
