Ann V. Markham

April 1, 1941 - February 26, 2022

Ann V. Markham of Huntsville, TX went home to be with her Lord and Savior on February 26, 2022. Born April 01, 1941 in Aberdeen, MS, Ann was the child of Clifton and Mary Lou Vaughan. In 1959, Ann graduated from Aberdeen High School where she was a member of the Glee and F.H.A. Club, Ann met the love of her life Audie Lee Markham. She moved to Huntsville, Texas in 1983 where she worked for Green Acres Nursing Home as a Dietary manager. She was a member of the First Christian Church for many years in Aberdeen, Mississippi and Huntsville, Texas. She lived life to the fullest and always had a big smile on her face. She loved with her whole heart, and she let you know that. One way she showed her love was to always greet you with open arms and to listen to anyone in need. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. A friend, mother-figure and so much more. She will never be forgotten. We know when she saw Jesus, we are sure He greeted her with loving, open arms. We wish to extend our thanks to Vita's Hospice Healthcare for their loving care. Remaining to cherish her memory are her daughter Angie Park of Huntsville, Texas and grandchildren Courtney Park of Huntsville, Texas and Dawson Park, Fiancé Karissa Cisneros of Huntsville, Texas. Preceding her in death is her beloved husband, Audie Lee Markham. Services will be held on Friday, March 4th at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 9:00am with the service immediately following at 10:00am. Memorial condolences may be made to the family at www.shmfh.com.
