Robert Scott Moore

Robert Scott Moore, 53 years young and his beloved dog, Harley of Huntsville, lives were tragically cut short on February 1, 2017 in Huntsville Texas. A Memorial service will be held at Calvary Baptist Church located at 1135 US-190, Huntsville, TX 77320 on February 18, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Scott was born in Bay City to Nicholas Lee and Barbara Dianne Moore in June 3, 1963. He went to school in Pasadena, Texas. He was a great handy man and jack of all trades. He enjoyed gardening, being outdoors, bird watching, visiting with family and neighbors and most of all playing with the joy of life, his dog Harley. Scott is preceded in death by his father, Nicholas Moore in 1981. Scott is survived by his loving mother an step-father, Dianne and Felix Laskie of Riverside. His sister Kandi and her husband David Gilmore of Pasadena Texas; his brothers, Nicholas and wife Virginia Moore of Pasadena Texas, Andy and wife Loretta Moore of Beach City, Todd and wife Shari Moore of Huntsville; his step-sister Karen and husband Alan Hay of Houston; his step-brothers Wayne and wife Kelly Laskie of The Woodlands, and Glen and wife Sheryl Laskie of Fort Collins, Colorado; his adoring nieces, Angela and husband Clint Eastwood of Deer Park, Robin Gilmore of Pasadena, Priscilla Moore of Pasadena, Tara More of Austin, Mara Moore of Huntsville, Jessica Meldrum of Deer Park, Jaime Laskie of Fort Collins; nephews, Dillon Moore of Oklahoma City, Oliver Moore of Pearland, Mason Moore of Pasadena, Joseph Moore of Huntsville, his step-nephews Joseph Laskie of The Woodlands, Andrew Laskie of The Woodlands, Brian Meldrum of New Jersey; great-nephews, David Eastwood, Nicholas Seretti, A.J. Seretti, Andrew Moore, Weston Barker, Zander Barker; great-nieces, Susan Gilmore, Rachel Rice, Alia Truelove and Abigail Moore. Scott and Harley were looking forward to their marvelous spring garden. They will be greatly missed by all that were truly blessed to have known them. We want you to know that Scott believed in God and that Jesus is His only begotten Son and had accepted Him as his Savior and Lord, so the garden he will come to know is eternal. In the book of John chapter 14, Jesus tells us: ”Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. And where I go you know and the way you know.”
