Paul Wayne Ellis After a brief battle with cancer Paul Wayne Ellis was called home to be with is heavenly Father. Paul was born July 2, 1952 in Huntsville, Texas and died November 2, 2013 in Conroe, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, O.B. Ellis and Pauline Lawlis Ellis of Huntsville, Texas. Paul Wayne loved the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, boating, boat racing, motorcycles and hunting. He was a top notch 42 player and dominoes player. He loved to hear people laugh. He told wonderful stories and jokes and always looked on the bright side of life. He worked for Louisiana Pacific for 22 years and after it closed he worked for P.M.S . Excavation Co. Paul is survived by his wife, Nettie Newman and family Daniel Paul Newman, David Newman, Sherry Newman, Tyler Newman, Austin Newman, Michael Newman, Hanna Newman, and Constance Newman; sisters, LaRue Schmelzer and her husband Jerry and Barbara (Pat) Mc Millian and husband Michael; brother Oran B. Ellis and wife Schurle ; nieces and nephews, Steve Mead and wife Jackie, Gerry Mead and wife Jean, Michaela Ginsel and husband Ricky, Sherry Baker Wall and husband Rick, Paula Cox and husband Tommy, Christopher O’Neal Ellis, Deborah Miller and husband Keith, Wendy Lynch and husband Raymond; great-nieces and nephews, Garrett Mead, Rachel Mead, and Andrew Mead, Travis Ginsel, Chelsea and Chip Gunderson their child McKenzye, April Ginsel and Bobby Roach and children Dylan Gruber, Bobby Roach and Landon Roach, Marcus Meadows, Michael Meadows and his child Mailee Meadows, Ivina Wall and Clolie Wall, Justin Cox and Kristina Thompson and their child Weston Cox, Jessica Cox and Jacob Cox, Jordan O’Neal Miller, Austin O’Neal Ellis, Raymond Cole Lynch, Kenny Lynch, Kurt Lynch, Katie Lynch and Ruth Lynch. Paul Wayne will be missed by all his family and many friends. He will be remembered as a man with a wonderful sense of humor, fascinating stories, a twinkle in his eyes and great bear hugs. May he rest in peace. A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 9, 2013, 3:00 p.m., at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home in Huntsville, Texas.
