Matthew Edward Anderson Matthew Edward Anderson, age 13 of Montgomery, Texas passed away on Tuesday, July 11, 2006. He was born July 26th, 1992 in San Jose, CA and became a Texan at age two. Although tragic, Matthew's departure from this world was quick and painless. He is survived by his loving family; parents, Mike & Rita Anderson, younger sister Amy, twin younger brothers, Adam and Andrew, and youngest brother Aaron; grandparents, James & Betty Anderson, John & Bonnie Romero; great grandparents, Obble & Ruth Harrell; aunts & uncles and their families; Richard & Lisa Romero, Nickie & Earl Finn, Steve & Esther Anderson, Larry & Mandy Anderson, Jamie Anderson, and Judy & Don Schulte, and his many friends and classmates. He was a friend to everyone and never had a mean thought or action. A playful, happy 13-year old that loved to laugh, and play jokes. He was very smart and intelligent - sometimes getting bored with day-to-day work. He loved athletics and played basketball, baseball, soccer, and football. He was excited that freshman football camp was near. He was not blessed with any super-star ability for sports, but his desire, enthusiasm, and willingness to do whatever was asked of him without complaint made him a wonderful addition to every team and a pleasure to coach. He loved fishing and the outdoors. He loved to draw and was blessed with a natural gift for art. Matthew sang in the boys and concert choirs of Montgomery Jr. High School. He loved his family and was the very sensitive "big brother", and loved the idea that he was growing into his dad's shoes. Matthew was a wonderful young adult that parents welcomed into their homes. While he was on earth, the family knows his life was full and happy even though short. A child is on earth to learn from his parents, teachers and peers, but he ended up teaching his parents, family, and friends much more than they taught him. We all love you Matthew. Matthew's body will lie in state at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home, 850 Eva St, Montgomery, TX on Saturday, July 15th, noon-8pm. Visitation will be at the funeral home Sunday, July 16th from 1pm-8pm,with the family receiving friends from 5pm-8pm. A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 17th at 10:00am at West Conroe Baptist Church, 1855 Longmire Road, Conroe, TX 77304. Pastors Randy Weaver from Lonestar Cowboy Church and Tracy Jaggers from West Conroe Baptist will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Montgomery Junior High PTO, the Conroe Family YMCA (10245 Owen Dr., Conroe, TX 77304), or a memorial fund in the name of Matthew Anderson (Attn: Susan Villarreal at Chase Bank, 1320 W.
