Kerstan E Natho

Kerstan Edward Natho August 10, 1981 – June 9, 2014 “If I could reach up and hold a star for every time you made me smile, the entire evening sky would be in the palm of my hand.” Kerstan was the epitome of a gentle giant. His rough exterior masked the love he carried within. He could walk into a room with his fierce face, but as soon as you heard him laugh and his smile reached your eyes, you knew, in that instance, what an amazing, caring man he was. He could fool any stranger into fearing his simple presence, but to truly know him was to love him. Kersten was never afraid to tell you what he thought you should know, but he would always be there to make sure that you were never alone when you needed someone. Kerstan Edward Natho, 32, our loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend left this world on June 9, 2014 to serve a bigger purpose. He left behind the love of his life, Lindsay Brown; his baby daughter, Kerstan Summer Lynn Natho; stepson, Cade Smith; parents, Kenneth and Karilyn Natho; brother, Karl and wife Brennan Natho; brother, Kyle Natho; sisters, Christine Natho and Gene Natho; nephews, Christopher and Keegan; nieces, Kaidence and Kwynn; grandfather, Tom Shannon; uncles, Kyle Shannon, Kelly Shannon and Frank Natho and wife Jane; aunt, Kayanne Kennedy; cousins, Josh, Shaun, Casie, Keagan and Keylan; father-in-law, Phillip Brown; mother-in-law, Cindy Barbee; brother-in-law, Richard Brown and many loving friends. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Alton E. Natho, Cecelia Natho and Beverly Shannon; and by his uncles James Natho and Rick Kennedy. We lost someone that will never be replaced. But we know that Kerstan will live in our hearts and our memories. The family will receive friends Thursday, June 12, 2014 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home in Huntsville, Texas.
