Kenneth Wayne Hall

Kenneth Wayne Hall, affectionately known as Ken, peacefully passed away in Conroe, Texas on Friday, August 18th. He had called Willis, Texas his home and had left an indelible mark on the lives of those who knew and loved him the past eighty years. Born November 21st, 1942 in Nacogdoches, Texas, Ken's journey through life was marked by a commitment to learning and a passion for craftsmanship. He attended the University of Houston, where he pursued his education before embarking on a career that would span several decades. Ken dedicated much of his life to Xerox, where he honed his skills and made lasting contributions. Later, he ventured into entrepreneurship, establishing his own successful copier repair business. Ken's talents extended far beyond the confines of his profession. An avid enthusiast of classic cars, he found joy in meticulously restoring vehicles to their former glory. Among his cherished projects were his 1953 Chevy Truck and his daughter's 1966 Ford Mustang, both testaments to his dedication and skill. In the company of friends, he reveled in the freedom of the open road, embarking on memorable motorcycle rides that brought him happiness and camaraderie. Ken possessed an innate ability to fix and build things, a trait that endeared him to those seeking his expertise. Ken's legacy of love and family was beautifully embodied in his 50-year marriage to his beloved spouse, Pamela Hall. Together, they weathered life's challenges and celebrated its triumphs, setting an example of unwavering commitment for all who knew them. Ken's role as a father was marked by love and devotion, surviving his late sons Keith and Wayne. He is survived by his daughter Melanie Hall and her husband Nicholas Fisher, who carry forward his legacy of strength and resilience. The bonds of family extended to Ken's grandchildren, Hunter Hall and Hayden Hall, who will forever treasure the moments shared with their grandfather. Ken's parents, Thomas and Pauline Hall, preceded him in passing, leaving behind a heritage that he carried with pride. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during a viewing on Friday, August 25th at 10 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11 AM, both at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home in Willis. A burial will take place at Isabell Chapel Cemetery in Mount Enterprise, Texas, commemorating Ken's journey from his beginnings in Nacogdoches to his final resting place in the piney woods of East Texas.
