Jordan Randall Cox

REMEMBERING “J” Jordan Randall Cox, 32, of Cypress, Texas went home to be with his Heaven Family on July 22, 2018. He left his Earthly Family unexpectedly while waiting for a heart transplant, since June 2017. Jordan was born on April 22nd, 1986 in Bedford, Texas. Jordan lived in Texas most of his life and several years in the mountains of Colorado where he fell in love with winter sports. He graduated from the School of Automotive Machinists of Houston for the Performance Field of Motorsports. He was employed and represented Royal Purple performance products and participated in the National Hot Rod Power Tour, which allowed him to travel all over the United States. He was a devoted motorsports enthusiast and owned his own 1969 Dodge Coronet muscle car. He was also an avid fisherman taking many fishing trips with his family and friends, leaving us with many memories and stories. Most importantly to Jordan was his relationship with Jesus, and his family! Always loving, helping and giving to all he encountered, even thinking of others to the end, by becoming a Life Donor. He was a wonderful son, brother, uncle, family member and great friend! He was the most loving, smart, compassionate person we knew. We were all blessed to have had him in our lives. He had a wonderful sense of humor. Jordan is survived by his parents, Randall and Vickie Cox, of Willis, Texas. Brothers, Logan Cox of Cypress, Texas. Tanner (Ashley) Cox of Willis, Texas. His sister, Laura Cox Dollar of Hutto, Texas. Brothers, Adam Cox of Round Rock, Texas and Ryan (Sarah) Cox of Round Rock, and many nieces and nephews, family and friends. Funeral Arrangements are being handled by Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home of Willis, Texas. Visitation will be held Monday, July 30th, from 6:30-8:00PM. The Memorial Service will be held, Tuesday July 31st, in Chapel of The Woods at Fellowship of the Woodlands Church, The Woodlands, Texas. Visitation at 10AM and Memorial Service at 11AM. Interment will be at Sam Houston-Smith Memorial Park in Willis, Texas. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested for Houston Methodist DeBakey Heart Center.
