Glenda Ann Schultz Poldrack Glenda Ann Schultz Poldrack, 74, of Georgetown, Texas, passed away on Sunday, June 1, 2014. Glenda was born in Huntsville, Texas, on August 30, 1939 to loving parents, Gussie Schultz and Inez McAdams Schultz. She attended Huntsville Public Schools and graduated from Huntsville High School. Glenda received her bachelor’s degree from Sam Houston State University in 1961 and taught school for several years in the North Forest School District. She married Eugene Marvin Poldrack on June 16, 1962. The couple returned to Huntsville in 1972 and made it their home until retiring to the Georgetown area in 2000 to be closer to their children and grandchildren. Glenda worked for Sam Houston State University and later the Region VI Education Service Center where she made a huge impact and many friends. Glenda was a life long Christian and was involved at many churches during her lifetime as a member and volunteer. She had a love of sewing, crafting and card making. She delighted in making special cards to give to her friends and family for any occasion and often for people she did not know but who she thought a card would brighten their day. Glenda had a great love for her family and was proud of the long family history in Texas. She was a sixth generation Texan. Glenda is survived by her husband of 51 years, Gene Poldrack; son, Clayton Ray Poldrack and wife Shannon, and their children Jordan, Clayton, and “J.J.”; daughter, Holly Gay Poldrack Zeiner and husband Joel, and their children Hannah, Ian, Kade, and Reed; sister Gayle Cunningham; brother Gus Schultz and wife Pat; brother-in-law Wayne Poldrack and wife Joyce; sister-in-law Betty Sanderson and husband Perry, and numerous loving and special nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of loving friends. A visitation will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 pm, Wednesday, June 4, 2014, at Beck Funeral Home in Cedar Park, Texas. A funeral service will be in Cedar Park on Thursday, June 5, 2014, at 2:00 pm. A funeral and graveside service will be in Huntsville on Friday, June 6, 2014, at the McAdams Chapel with a visitation period from 12:00-2:00 pm and services beginning at 2:00. Graveside service immediately following at McAdams Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to your favorite charity or your local library in Glenda’s name.
