Georgia Mae Womack

On September 27, 1940, an angel was born. Her name was Georgia Mae Pichot Womack, “Tinker”. On August 21, 2018, this loving angel flew where she was greeted by the love of her life, David “Scatter” Womack, as well as her mother, Fodie Lee Pichot and father, George Albert Pichot that greeted her with open arms. Leaving behind to celebrate this angel’s 77 years of life are her loving daughters, Lynann Womack (Mike) Lawrence, Debbie Womack (John) Walters, and Dyane Womack Sallee (Dallas Nicholson); grandchildren, Lyndsey (Jose), Kaci (JoJo), Jordan (Miriam), Taylyr (Greg), Laramie (Charlie), Colt (Karley), Will (Lyndsey), Rylee, Ayvery, Kynnedy, and Karsyn; great-grandchildren, Ryan, Leighton, Adyalyn, Joseph, and Lynnon; sister, Eva Lee Pichot Smith; sister-in-law, Barbara Sodhi; extended grandchildren, Jonathan, Adam, Devin, Alexis (Anthony), and Lauren; extended great-grandchildren, Conner and Austin; and numerous other loving relatives and friends. Tinker grew up in Coady (now, Baytown), Texas, being a 1959 graduate of Robert E. Lee. She began working for Bama Corporation. Shortly thereafter, she entered the legal field, becoming the Chief Deputy Clerk for N. O. “Pookie” Morrison, Justice of the Peace, Precinct 3 of Harris County. She later became a Reserve Deputy for the former Harris County Constable, James Douglas, Precinct 3, as well as working as a reserve for the Houston County Sherriff’s Department. The pride she had serving the “BLUE” shown as bright as the badge she wore. Tinker treasured being an active member of Riverside United Methodist Church, as well as being a Life Member of Marine Corps League, Detachment 1433, of Houston County. Tinker was a loving mother and grandmother. If you ever had any doubt about how she felt about her children or grandchildren, she would let you know quickly that they were “PERFECT”. She always said what she thought, whether you wanted to know it or not. She cherished her family and will be greatly missed. Services for Georgia “Tinker” Pichot Womack of Weldon will be Saturday, August 26, 2018 at 9:00 A.M. at Weldon Baptist Church, 11812 F.M. 230, Lovelady, (Weldon) Texas, followed by interment at the Weldon Cemetery.
