Frances Marguerite "Fran" Adams

Frances Marguerite "Fran" Adams was born on April 16, 1931 in Fort Worth, Texas to Walter and Lillian Latham. Leave it to Fran to pick Father's Day, a Sunday and Juneteenth to leave this world. She knew how to make a grand entrance into Heaven because on the morning of June 19th, Fran was emancipated from this world and had church with Jesus. She was many things to many people. She was a precious daughter, a granddaughter, a niece and everyone's favorite aunt. A high school sweetheart, a wife, mother and grandmother many times over. She loved to bowl, was a dancer and a dancing cowboy chaser. Fran showed dogs, was a boy scout leader and taught Sunday school. She was always there with a shoulder to cry on, a hand to hold or a tissue to wipe away your tears. She loved her husband Hank of 53 years and never let anyone or anything come between them, until God called her home. Most of all she was the heart of her family and she will be greatly missed. Fran is survived by her loving husband, Henry Q. Adams of Huntsville, TX; her children, Phil Yauger and wife Jackie Yauger of Weldon, TX; Terry B. Aldridge of Weldon, TX; Jeffrey L. Yauger of Weldon, TX; Joe Adams and wife Tish Adams of Springtown, TX. Also left to cherish her memory are grandchildren Dawn Marie Yauger and husband Shawn; Heather Yauger; Dallas LeJeune and husband Richard; Travis Aldridge and Nikki; Kaydee Nelson and husband Jimmy; Christopher Adams; Anna Colclasure and husband Conner; Amy Adams; Jarrad Burns and Meghan Coleman and husband Dylan. She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. Sister-in-laws Mollie DeVries and Tish Adams, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and many dear friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, sons Casey B. Yauger and David A. Adams, son-in-law Curtiss E. Jones and granddaughter Elizabeth Adams. Also preceding her in death were her two very special aunts Opal and Irma. A visitation will be held on Friday, June 24 from 5:30 to 7:30 PM at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home in Huntsville, TX. Services will be Saturday, June 25 at 1:00 PM at Weldon Baptist Church in Weldon, TX, with interment at 2:30 PM at Weldon Cemetery. Memorial condolences to the family may be made at www.shmfh.com.
