Emily Suzanne Mullins A Loyal Friend Emily Suzanne Mullins was born October 23, 1980 in Baytown, Texas and passed away January 6, 2006. Living a God Centered life, she was a dedicated member of Second Baptist Church where she served as the college Sunday School teacher, church secretary and was a committed and loving youth leader. She was a 1999 graduate of C.E. King High School in Houston and 2003 graduate of Sam Houston State University. She recently continued her studies in London in interior design. She has been employed by The Story Team of Keller Williams Realty for the past several years as Technology Coordinator. She was a Charter Member of Sigma Phi Lambda and member of Sam Houston Alumni Association. Devoted to her family, friends and church, she is survived by her mother, Beth Mullins of Midlothian; father, John W. Mullins III., of Houston; grandparents, Wales and LaVell Dear of Livingston; brothers, John Mullins IV. of Houston; brother, Justin Mullins of Midlothian; Uncle, Jack & wife Patsy Bryant of Clifton; Aunt Ola Faye Franklin of Livingston; Uncle, Wales (Bubba) and wife Darla Dear of Woodville; Aunt, Sheila and husband Kent Atkinson of Livingston; Uncle Claude and wife, Pam Mullins of Lufkin; numerous cousins. Left behind are Emily’s godchildren, Ben and Selah Pilkington of College Station and her extended family Jimmy Strawn of Midlothian, Dale & Donna Story of Huntsville along with special friends, John Wilson of Huntsville, Keith & Amy Pilkington of College Station and Patrick and Erin Newcomb of Odessa, Tx. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Erlene and John Mullins II.; Aunt Nell and Uncle Bob Bryant; Pallbearers will be John Wilson, Patrick Newcomb, Keith Pilkington, Mike Dean, Darrell Halk, Chris Ramsey, Matt Farmer. Services will be held at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home at 2pm on Tuesday, January 10, 2006 with Rev. Gary Garrison officiating. Visitation will be held Monday, January 9, 2006 from 5-8 pm at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home. Graveside will be held at Peebles Cemetary in Livingston, Tx. A memorial fund has been set up at First Victoria Bank in Huntsville. Memorials may also be made to the Second Baptist Church Youth Fund.
