Colleen Ann Brymer March 4th 1951- October 5th 2017 Colleen Ann Brymer, 66 years young, passed away October 5th 2017 in Conroe Texas after a long battle with Stage 4 Cancer. Colleen was born March 4th 1951 in Superior, Wisconsin to the proud parents of Edward and Ann O'Brien. Colleen attended the St. Francis Catholic School for Girls until High School where she attended public school. As a child, Colleen enjoyed Girl Scouts and Ice skating. In 1991, Colleen decided to become a cross country truck driver. That is when she met her forever love David Brymer to where they spent the next 26 happy years together. Colleen then worked for TDC Wynne Unit for 20 years until retirement. Colleen made a beautiful home for her family in Riverside, Texas on Thomas Lake; which she was very proud of, as she should have been. She had a unique skill of making a house a Home. Collen loved to Crappie fish and could do it all day. She also enjoyed making road trips to Livingston and Louisiana with her husband to gamble at the Coushatta. Win or lose, she always had a blast! The love for her family was amazing. She adored her family with every fiber of her being and her family knew it each and every single day. Colleen was a feisty one. She loved with passion and fought with passion. Her laughter and smiles were infectious; and her hugs can never be replaced. Oh and can't forget about her story telling... You would be laughing for hours. Colleen is preceded by her parents and fur babies Fritz and Missy. Colleen left behind in death her loving husband David Brymer of Riverside Texas, daughter Christene Vest and spouse Jamey of Rogers, Arkansas; bonus-son David Brymer Jr. and spouse Ann of Hearne, Texas; bonus-son Larry Brymer and spouse Melody of Hearne, Texas; and bonus-daughter Kelly Quick and spouse David of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; grandson Christian Herd and spouse Taylor; granddaughter Kelsey Young; grandson Jared Young; grandson Matthew Brymer; granddaughter Myke Jordon; great-grandson Parker Dean Herd; brother Thomas O'Brien of Montgomery, Texas; and last but not least, Colleen’s fur babies, Walter and Monkey Butt. Services will be held Friday October 13th 2017. Viewing at 1pm and services at 2pm, at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 Normal Park Drive, Huntsville Texas, 77340; 936-2991-7300.
