Ms. Carol Ann Cooper

Carol Ann Cooper passed away unexpectedly from this earth on August 14, 2021, from Covid complications in Conroe, Texas. Carol was born to Richard and Janet Cooper on August 17, 1960, in Marietta, Georgia. She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, successful Business Woman, Goddess, Life Coach, public speaker and master fundraiser. Carol was very involved with the Conroe High School Alumni Association, Landmark education, Texas Society of CPAs, and various professional organizations. Fundraising for Crippen Elementary School students for Christmas was her Pet Project. A self-described Air Force Brat, Carol had lived in 10 different places including Spain and Alaska by the age of 16. When her father retired from the Air Force in 1977, Conroe became her home. She truly loved life and enjoyed disco dancing, traveling and entertaining at her home by the pool. Carol dedicated her life and her 35 year career as a Certified Public Accountant to mentoring and growing small businesses and furthering women's causes. She had a thriving practice in Conroe and will be missed by her more than 400 clients and friends. Her true passion in life was causing breakthroughs for people by bringing integrity, authenticity and a unique perspective about customer service. She was extremely outspoken and not afraid to let you know how she felt about anything. Carol was a devoted Cat Mother and leaves behind her 4 furry children, Mr. Cat, Cammie, Sheba and Lily. Carol was preceded in death by her father, Richard Cooper. She was survived by her mother, Janet Cooper who passed away recently on June 7th, 2022 ; 2 sisters of Conroe Cheryl Arnold and husband Jack, sister Cindy Johnson and husband Paul; her niece Ashley Artman, husband Bryan and son Andrew; her nephew Adam Arnold, wife Emiley and son Cooper; niece Gabbriella Chupurdy and son Caden, and nephews Jacob and Joshua Johnson and daughter Penelope, as well as many cousins and great friends. When you think of Carol, celebrate the good memories you have of her. Remember that life is fragile and should be lived to the fullest. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Wednesday, June 15 , 2022 at 9 am at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home in Willis, Texas. Condolences may be left at www.shmfh.com.
