Jordan Rae Russell

Jordan Rae Russell, beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully at her home in Riverside, TX, on September 27, 2024, due to long-term health complications. She was born on July 30, 1991, in Madisonville, TX. Jordan was baptized at 9 years old at Bedias Baptist Church. A proud graduate of Huntsville High School, Class of 2009. Jordan was crowned Fair Queen of the WCFA in 2008, showcasing her spirit and dedication to her community. She earned her LVN in 2012 from Joe G Davis school of Nursing and served as an MDS Coordinator, making a profound impact during her many years of her nursing career where she touched countless lives. Jordan’s passion for rodeo was evident throughout her life, and she spent many years actively involved in the sport. She cherished helping her father’s family at the Elkhart Sale Barn and enjoyed camping and going on survival hunts with her husband, Brent Russell. Hunting exotic animals was a favorite pastime, and she loved taking trips to float the river with family and friends. Jordan was a devoted mother to her children, Katie, Aiden, and Keagan Russell, and a role model who instilled strength and kindness in them. She enjoyed photography, capturing the love and smiles of those around her. She is survived by her husband, Brent Russell; her children, Katie, Aiden, and Keagan; her mother, Sara Baughman Boyd, and bonus dad, Kevin Boyd; her sisters, Christen Jeffcoat and Lydia Crow; her bonus siblings; her grandparents, Twyla and Kenneth Baughman, and bonus grandmother, Brenda Boyd; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and many special friends. Jordan was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ben and Molly Talbot; her father, Kenneth Bing; and her niece, Adalynn Jeffcoat. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her loving spirit and the many lives she touched. A celebration of her life will be Saturday October 12th 2024 at 10am at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home in Huntsville.
