Daniel Rogers

Daniel Rogers was born in Conroe Tx on April 20th of 1987 to Donald Rogers and Lisa Miskell followed by his little brother, Derek Rogers. He grew up in Willis, Tx where he was extremely involved in sports and extra curricular activities. He loved all sports but his one true passion was football. He was great at it and he loved the game so much. He was the biggest Cowboys fan you would ever find. He had many friends, a lot of friendships that carried into his adulthood. He was always described as kind, loving, funny, a teddy bear, personable, and a great friend. He had many nicknames, Big D, D, Tiny, Diesel, Danny. He loved video games and played them into adulthood. He would always say he wasn’t that good but he was getting better. He was funny and so witty. Daniel started dating Kelsi in October of 2011, he married his wife on November 1st, 2013 in Conroe Tx. They started a life together in Willis off of Running Bear Ln. They traveled to 28 states together by road trip. They grew up together and lived a lot of life in those 13 years. They moved to Normangee off Dawkins Rd where he spent a lot of time with horses and cattle and he would many times say how it brought him so much patience and they spent a few years there before buying their first home in Huntsville Tx. They struggled with fertility and having a baby for almost 10 years but God decided to bless them with their sweet baby girl Kamryn Elizabeth Rogers on March 30th of 2023. All Daniel wanted in life was to be a daddy. He wanted other things as well but being a dad was the most and highest honor to him. He was an incredible dad. Better than any dad we’ve ever seen. Kamryn fit so perfectly in his arms and her daddy is her best friend. They made so many memories in the short time together. Daniel was a family man, and he loved his family hard, he loved all of us. He was a good as they get, don’t make them like that anymore, honest as they come, type people. Daniel worked in the Oilfield for many years, where he quickly succeeded in everything he did, like he always does. After leaving that career he became an Electrician. He graduated from IEC as a Journeyman Electrician on July 23, 2022. He worked for G4 Electric as a Journeyman Supervisor and took much pride in his work. He was often described as professional, kind, funny, organized, and thorough. People always asked for him to come back to a job site. He loved being an electrician and making a difference and being so proud to show someone the work he did for them. Daniel and Kelsi have always had a relationship with Jesus but after having Kamryn, Daniel really dug in deep and got closer to God than he ever has before. In his last weeks of life he was praying so much more and really wanting a deeper relationship with Jesus. He attended ZealHouse church and worshiped Jesus there every Sunday. He also attended The Ark. He loved helping people. His love language was to fix it, to make it better, to help you move or help you lay your flooring. He would load groceries in someone’s car without them asking and he would write his wife and daughter love notes in the mornings before work. He had a loving, giving, caring heart. He will be extremely missed. He loved to go fishing, almost more than sports and I know that he is at the best fishing hole in heaven and that he has the best view of us all. But it doesn’t make us miss him any less. Our loss is definitely heavens gain. We love you daddy. We can’t wait to see you again one day and be in your arms.
