Charles (Chuck) LeRibeus

Charles (Chuck) Wynne LeRibeus passed away at his home in Dhahran on August 14, 2007. Chuck arrived with his family in Saudi Arabia on November 23, 1980, where he worked for Abqaiq Plants until November 27, 1987. He returned to Saudi Arabia with his family on March 18, 1989 where he worked for East-West Pipelines Department until his death. He coached T-Ball, Little League and the Sr. League Traveling Team in Abqaiq during the 80’s. Chuck loved golf. His greatest joys were spent on the golf course anywhere in the world with his boys and friends; and his next love was spending as much time as possible with his family and friends. Chuck is survived by his wife of 34 years, Rhonda; his sons, Bryson and his wife Kristin of Destrehan; Blake and his wife Elyse of Round Rock; Kristofer and his wife Alli of St. Petersburg; and his grandson Dylan; his parents, Nikita and Dick Rogers of Willis; his sisters, Shelley Vargo and Diana Miller; his brothers Sam LeRibeus and Tom Rogers; Godchildren, Uri and Christopher Seymour; father-in-law, Bill Goode; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Chuck was preceded in death by his father W.C. (Frenchie) LeRibeus, grandparents Wilma and A.J. LeRibeus, Sr., and Cecil and Loretta Teague, and uncle, A.J. LeRibeus, Jr. Chuck never met a stranger; if you knew Chuck, you liked Chuck. He was well respected, and will be sorely missed by his family, friends, and co-workers. As Chuck would always say “Rhonda, my needs are few, you and the boys, I’m just a simple man”. He lived his life to help and please others wherever he could. Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 28, 2007 from 5-8 PM at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home in Willis, Texas. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at 10 AM in the chapel of Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home in Willis, Texas with Brother Hubert Allen officiating. A Masonic graveside service will be conducted by Angleton Lodge #829 A F & A M at 5 PM at the Angleton Cemetery on Wednesday, August 29, 2007. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jim Breninger, Eugene Conner, Don Henderson, Frank Morgan, Myron Scoggins, Cornell Seymour, Tony Timmons, Reggie Warren, Jimbo Wise and Keith Wright.
