Becky Joe Chumley

Becky Joe Chumley, age 79, went to be with the Lord on November 10, 2018. Becky was born in Oxford, Mississippi on February 8, 1939 to parents Howard and Helen Garrison. Becky is survived by Kari and Ed Tingley, her loving daughter and son-in-law, grandsons, Kyler and Keaton Tingley and Austin Kody O’Neal, granddaughters, Stephanie Jade DeFrain and Malinda Victoria O’Neal. She is also survived by Don and Barbara Chumley, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Mike and Diane Chumley, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, nieces and nephews: Cindy Lea Winters, Tammy Ann Reid, Jeffery Thomas Garrett, James Russell Garrett Jr., Jared Todd Garrett, Jeremy Howard Garrett, James and Kathie Chumley, James and Jena Spikes, Lindsey Chumley, David Clarke and David Chumley, great nieces and nephews: Ty Chumley, Jamie Spikes, Jordan Spikes, Gage Reding, Ashley Erickson and Katie Erickson. Becky is preceded in death by her loving husband Wayne Chumley as well as her parents, Howard and Helen Garrison, her sons, Alan Keith O’Neal, Kenneth Don O’Neal and Steven Kal O’Neal, sister and brother-in-law, Virginia Ann Garrett and James Russell Garrett, niece, Linda Diane Orme. Becky graduated from high school from Oxford High in Mississippi and attended a year of college at University of Mississippi (Ole Miss). On September 22, 1978, Becky married Wayne Chumley where they lived in Spring, Texas until moving to Willis, Texas in 2004. Her hobbies included camping/traveling with Wayne in their motorhome, shopping and antique shopping across the country and spending time with family and friends. Visitation with the family will be Thursday, November 15, 2018 from 6-8pm at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home, 10129 FM 1097 West, Willis, Texas. The funeral service will be held Friday, November 16, 2018 at 1pm with Pastor James Featherstone officiating at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home in Willis. Burial will be immediately following at Smith Memorial Park, 10129 FM 1097 West, Willis, Texas.
