Heather L Terhune
November 27, 1976 - September 7, 2021
Heather Lea Terhune was born November 27, 1976 to Kay and Eddie Terhune of Huntsville. She was an engaging child and even at an early age, quickly involved herself in social gatherings where she used her creative gift to bring people together - an ability she would express later on in her neighborhood and family. Heather was baptized at First Baptist Church in Huntsville when she was eleven. After graduating from Huntsville High School, she attended East Texas Baptist University where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. After various jobs, Heather found her calling in 2005 when she joined Baker-Hughes as their global traveler coordinator. As part of her job, she traveled around the world from Canada to Brazil, Qatar, England, Scotland and Italy. Her responsibilities covered travel and lodging arrangements to over 100 countries. She was deemed irreplaceable by her superiors. Besides her management skills, she expressed her gifted side with the acquisition of a guest cottage in Jefferson. She loved decorating and began her chalk couture lessons under the heading Sweet Home Chalking. She loved searching flea markets for treasures. Wherever she went and whoever she was with, she added light and good fellowship. She went home to be with the Lord on September 7, 2021. She is survived by her parents Kay and Eddie Terhune, her special friend Edward Shelton, aunts, uncles and cousins. She will be missed. Visitation will be held Monday, September 13, 2021 at 10:00 am, with a service immediately following at 11:00 am, both of which will be at Northside Baptist Church in Huntsville, TX. She will be laid to rest at Brooke Cemetery on FM 980. Memorial condolences may be made to the family at www.shmfh.com.
