June 19, 1958 - January 12, 2022
With deepest sorrow, we announce that Edward William Pierce ("Eddie"), born June 19, 1958, (age 63), our most beloved son, brother, family member and friend went home to meet our Lord on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, while in the hospital. Those who knew Eddie, even just a little, lost a shining light in their lives. Eddie was a happy go lucky guy that lived life his way. "Uncle Eddie was a thoughtful, generous, kind, genuine and loving Uncle." From an early age Eddie remained a muscle car fanatic and very passionate about NASCAR. If the race was on TV, you can be sure that Eddie was there front and center rooting for his favorite driver #18 Kyle Busch. When football season came around - Eddie always cheered for his favorite team, The Dallas Cowboys. Eddie will be missed everyday by his mother, Roseann Pierce, his three sisters and their spouses Debbie Amrhine, Donald Amrhine, Susan Perugini, Michael Perugini, Roxane Pierce, his two nephews, Sean Perugini and Justin Pierce, his loving Aunt Maudie Kinler, Cousins and many great friends. We know Eddie is now with his Daddy, Willie Frank Pierce, along with his Grandparents, Great Grandparents and other relatives that have passed before him and is loved here on earth as well as in heaven. We LOVE and MISS you so much my Son, Brother and Friend. XOXO Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 Normal Park, Huntsville, Texas. Don't think of him as gone away his journey's just begun, life holds so many facets this earth is only one. Just think of him as resting from the sorrows and the tears in a place of warmth and comfort where there are no days and years. Think how he must be wishing that we could know today how nothing but our sadness can really pass away. And think of him as living in the hearts of those he touched... for nothing loved is ever lost and he was loved so much. ********************************************** To the living, I am gone, To the sorrowful, I will never return, To the angry, I was cheated, But to the happy, I am at peace, And to the faithful, I have never left. I cannot speak, but I can listen. I cannot be seen, but I can be heard. So as you stand upon a shore gazing at a beautiful sea, As you look upon a flower and admire its simplicity, Remember me. Remember me in your heart: Your thoughts, and your memories, Of the times we loved, The times we cried, The times we fought, The times we laughed. For if you always think of me, I will never have gone.
