Edith Untermeyer Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Edy Untermeyer, longtime resident of Montgomery, TX, and well-known Realtor, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ May 29, 2022. She was 89 years old. Edy was a multiple honored Broker Associate in Montgomery County for over 47 Years. She began her career working with the development of Walden on Lake Conroe. Edy continued her career with Keller Williams Advantage in Conroe, TX for the last 20 years. She was a member of The Lake Conroe Area Republican Women, The Houston Association of Realtors, The Conroe Chamber of Commerce as well as The Conroe Noon Lions Club. Edy participated in Write-Way Prison Ministry for years and was instrumental in starting the Walden Community Church. Preceding her in death is her husband Melvin Vornkahl, her daughter Diane Untermeyer, and her stepson, David Vornkahl. Surviving family members include her daughter and son in law, Darlene Untermeyer Cassell and Wayne Cassell of Conroe, granddaughter Lindsey Boze and husband James Boze of Conroe, grandson Stephan Paras and wife Jenny Paras of Spring, and grandson Jeffery Paras and wife Dianna Paras of Liberty Hill, as well as 11 great grandchildren. Edy was a kindhearted person whose love for the Lord was known from the moment you met her. Her love of people will be missed by all throughout Montgomery County. Her service will be held on June 17, 2022, at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home, 10129 FM 1097, Willis, TX 77318. Visitation 10 am, service starting at 11 am, with the reception immediately following. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children in her memory.
