Mrs Diane Marie Maguire Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Diane Marie Levandoski Maguire was born January 22, 1944, in Jersey City, NJ, to parents Alexander and Jane Sysko Levandoski. Diane graduated from St. Cecilia High School in Kearney, NJ, and continued her higher education at Fairleigh Dickinson University where she received her associates degree. Her last employment was with RCA as an executive assistant to the head of promotions until she married Richard Maguire in the spring of 1973. Richard and Diane went on to have two children, son Brian Duval Maguire and daughter Elizabeth Lee Maguire Wilson. Diane was a loving mother, grandmother and wife whose passion was family and serving her church St Mary Catholic Church, in Plantersville, TX, until her death on July 27, 2022. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Wladyslaw and Zofia Sysko Walkosz, her parents Alexander and Jane Levandoski and family members Sophie Sysko, Zigmund Sysko, Edwin Sysko, Joseph "Teddy" Walkosz, and Jimmy Sysko. Diane is survived by her husband Richard Maguire of Montgomery, TX, her son Brian Maguire of Montgomery, TX, and her daughter Elizabeth Maguire Wilson of Tualatin, OR. She leaves behind five grandchildren, Tre' and Kaylie Maguire of Montgomery, TX, and Emma, Will and Ava Wilson of Tualatin, OR, and her cousins Lennard Sysko of Union, NJ, Raymond Sysko of New York, NY, and Karen Kenny of Iselin, NJ. A Rosary will be prayed at 10 AM with memorial service starting at 10:30 AM at St. Mary Catholic Church in Plantersville, TX on Tuesday, August 9, 2022.
