Andrew Kenneth Allman Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Andrew Kenneth Allman was born on June 28, 1985, in Fairfax, Virginia to Donald K. Allman and Mary Anne Allman. After a seven-month long battle with cancer, Andrew peacefully went home to be with his Lord and Savior on June 19, 2022 with his beloved wife and loving family at his bedside. Andrew attended the Citadel, the Military College of the South, and graduated in 2007 with a Bachelor's in English. After college, he commissioned in the United States Army as a Cavalry Scout with the 1st Infantry Division out of Ft. Riley, Kansas. Shortly thereafter, Andrew deployed to Iraq where he executed countless combat missions earning a bronze star, and the respect of the men and women who served alongside him. The burn pits he was exposed to during this deployment had a direct result on his health and would prove to be the driving force for the cancer he would be diagnosed with years later. Upon his return from a 12-month deployment, Andrew and his family ultimately settled in Texas, where they have resided for the last nine years. After being honorably discharged from the Army, Andrew continued to hone his shrewd business skills by working as a top salesman for Lutron Electronics and then later transitioning to Bell and McCoy where he presided as regional sales manager over Lutron and Gauzy products. Andrew had many hobbies and interests, including classic cars, cigars, and bourbon. He was an avid firearm collector and history buff. But among his favorite pastimes were spending his days with his family which include his wife, Sarah, and their three children - Ava, Henry, and Christopher. He loved his family fiercely and without limit. The bond between Andrew and Sarah could not have been any stronger and their love for one another is unparalleled. Next to his relationship with the Almighty, Sarah was the most important person in his life. Andrew is survived by his wife, Sarah, and their three children, Ava (13), Henry (12), and Christopher (5). Additionally, Andrew is survived by his parents, Donald and Mary Anne Allman; siblings, Melissa (Dave) Jurk, and David (Kelly) Allman. A celebration of Andrew's life will be held at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home located at 20850 Eva Street in Montgomery, Texas at 1pm CST on June 28th, which would have been his 37th birthday.
